My candidate for the top Spanish wonder is "The enchanted forest" in San Martín de Valdeiglesias. It was opened in summer 2011 and it's an special botanical garden in Europe.
ResponderEliminarI've chosen The enchanted forest because this place has three hundred sculptures. Sculptures are differents due to they're made on plants. It also has some labyrinths and plants' exhibitions. I think this park allows us a wonderfull lanscape.
The enchanted forest is an special because this place wasn't made by man above. It's a great place where lives together nature and peace. You can enjoy it all day for only 10€. It's a good idea for to pass the day with the family anf kids.
For all these reasons I think The enchanted forest should be our top Spanish wonder and this place would be enjoyed for people.
My candidate is Angel Falls (El Salto del Angel) is the highest waterfall in the world with a height of 979 m. It is located in the Canaima National Park in Bolivar State, Venezuela.
ResponderEliminarI like this waterfall because it is beautiful and Its is impressive to see a waterfall is so high in the middle of the jungle of Venezuela.
My candidate for world wonder is the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. It located in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia). The construction of the cathedral began in 1075 and ended in 1128 and is one of the principal Catholic pilgrimage sites.
ResponderEliminarI´ve chosen The cathedral of Santiago de Compostela because its facade has an extensive variety of architectural styles (Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic), one of the most popular facade is the "Gate of Glory". Moreover the inside is very beautiful, one of the principal objects is the "botafumeiro".
The visit to the cathedral is free and enriching.
That´s why it´s fascinating to visit and learn about it.
For all these reasons I think Cathedral of Santiago should be a World Wonder
My candidate for worl wonder is "The Kiss". It was made of Rodin in 1889 anf for me is the most beautiful sculture.
ResponderEliminarI've chosen "The Kiss" because of the legend about it. The legend talk about the love between Francesca da Rimini and Paolo (the brother of her husband, who was married). This love drove them to death, because he surprised them reading about the love between Lanzarote y Ginebra. Angry for the discover, Paolo's brother killed them. That's why, the man of the sculture (Paolo) hold a book in his hand.
I also think "The Kiss" is special because is very real and it is very well make.
For all these reasons I think "The Kiss" should be one of the world wonder.

My candidate for world wonder is the world's highest mountain,the Everest, in the Himalaya.
ResponderEliminarThe mountain was named Everest in honor of George Everest, British geographer, in 1865. Everest is 8848 meters, is located in Asia, and marks the border between Nepal and China.
I´ve chosen Everest because It has a spectacular relief with very special animals, like and plants. Everest is also considerated "Death Zone" because of the conditions above 8000 meters.
I also think Everest is special because you can see landsccapes and experiment conditions that you can´t live in other place in the world.
Finally, I think that everyone should visit the Everest sometime in their lives. But Everest was scaled in the history by a few people.
For all these reasons I think Everest should be the world wonder.

ResponderEliminarMy candidate for being a wonder of the world are The Plitvice Lakes. They are a Nacional Park in Croatia. The Plitvice Lakes were diclared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1979. They have an area of 30.000 hectares and you can only visit 8 square kilometers.
They are my choise because, I think nowadays we are undervaluing the nature, and she is the most beautiful thing in the world.The wonder of word doesn´t have to be a monument or a statue or a palace...Green spaces, forests, rivers,lakes are the real wonders!
I also think The Plitvice Lakes have to be a wonder of world because this area has got a lot of forests, lakes,watterfalls..This is a really beautiful place...There isn't an other place like this in the world. It is a place where you can find yourself, where you can relax and forget all your problems, and where you can breathe pure air...
For all this reasons I think The Plitvice Lakes shoul be a wonder of world.

ResponderEliminarWell, my candidate for being a world wonder are the Galápagos Islands (called also "El archipiélago de Colón", in spanish), in Ecuador. They are at 972km of the west coast of this country.
These islands were visited by the english naturalist Charles Darwin. His observations contributed to the inception of Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection.
I´ve chosen this islands because of the flora and fauna here are unique and it doesn't found in other places in the world. There are some species like the Galápagos giant tortoise, it gave the name to the islands; 13 different species of tanagers, that they were studied by Darwin.
Also, this islands were recognised in 1978 as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and in 1985, as a biosphere reserve.
I don't have to give more explanations about why I've chosen this place. For all this reasons I think The Galápagos Islands should be a wonder of world.
My candidate for world wonder is the Madison Square Garden.
ResponderEliminarIt's a stadium in New York (EEUU). The stadium was built in 1871 on an old railway station. Before this stadium there were 3 stadiums, all demolished. The first stadium was called "Barnum's Monster Classical and Geological Hipodrome", because the stadium was sold to P.T. Barnum and converted into a hippodrome.
Now, the stadium is used for match of basketball (New York Knicks and Red Storm), ice hockey (New York Rangers) and feminine basketball (New York Liberty). Also this stadium was used for the Republican Convention in 2004, and a lot of concert: Madonna, Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, KISS... Moreover here are done boxing and wrestling.
The stadium cost $123 million and it has a capacity of 200.000 persons. For my it’s a world wonder because is the biggest and most beautiful stadium in the world.
My candidate for world wonder is the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
ResponderEliminarIt's a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.It's considered the largest art deco statue in the world and the fifth largest statue of Jesus in the world.
The statue is located at the peak of the 700 metres Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park.
The statue measures 39.6 metres tall and 30 metres wide.
I think it's a wonder because is a symbol of Christianity in all the world and more people like it.
My candidate for become a world wonder is Leonardo Da Vinci. He was an Italian Renaissance polymath. He was born in April 15, 1452 in Vinci, (Italy), near Florence. He died May 2, 1519 (aged 67) in Amboise, (France).
ResponderEliminarI’ve chosen Da Vinci because he was a polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer, whose genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. That’s why I admire him.
La Gioconda was painted between 1503 and 1506 by him. Also, The Last Supper and The Vitruvian Man were painted by him. As an engineer and inventor, Leonardo developed ideas far ahead of his time, such as helicopter, tank, submarine and the automobile.
For all this reasons I think Leonardo Da Vinci should be a world wonder.
My candidate for become a world wonder is the aurora borealis.
ResponderEliminarI've chosen the aurora borealis because for me, is a really beautiful thing which is rare to see.
An aurorais a natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude regions.The aurora borealis (or the northern lights)are seen near the magnetic pole may be high overhead, but from farther away, they illuminate the northern horizon as a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red, as if the Sun were rising from an unusual direction. The aurora borealis most often occurs near the equinoctes.
I think it should be a world wonder because it's something that only can be described as a wonder. What person wouldn't like to see it?
Hi, I´m going to tell you my candidate for being a wonder of the world: 'Europe Park' (Parque Europa).
ResponderEliminarIt´s a municipal park in the city of Torrejon de Ardoz in Madrid (Spain). It was inagurated in September 2010. It has 233.000 square meters and it is one of the most visited places by Spanish people.
I´ve chosen Europe Park because inside the park it has the Europe's most important monuments, inclunding the Eiffel Tower, the Michelangelo's David,The Tower of Belem... This monuments were built to scale precise. Also has a big square with a source and in his floor it has a map of Europe with the corresponding flags.
I think that the park should be a world wonder because if you visit it, you will see the most important monuments of the Europe, even the world, in the same place.
For all these reason I think Europe Park should be the new world wonder.

The Alhambra is an old palace built in Granada by the moroccan king Mohamed I in the period when the morrocan invaded Spain. Also, the Alhambra is known by the name of " The red fortress "
I've chosen The Alhambra because of it's an icon of Spain. The Alhambra have to become a wonder of the world because of it has survived a lot of bad times like a lot of wars and some natural accidents.
I also think The Alhambra is special because it has a lot of history in it. Between its walls it has happened a lot of history moments like the coronation of a lot of kings and a lot of famous heroes.
And now, it's one of the most famous buildings in Spain and one of the most visited with more than one million visitors per year.
For these reasons and many more I think The Alhambra should be one of the Seven World Wonders

ResponderEliminarI'm going to talk about my candidate for world wonder. It's name is Burj Khalifa and it's the tallest manmade structure in the world with 829.84 m. It's located in Dubai(United Arab Emirates) and its construction lasted 5 years.
Why I choosed this one? Becouse for me its a symbol of the human progress. Whenever i look at this building(in photos of course), I feel that nothing can stop the human race.
I also think that this isn't the end, and it's only the beggining. There are a lot of structures which are being constructed at the moment and they are as spectacular as this one if not more.
For all this reasons I think that the Burj Khalifa must be one of the Seven World Wonders.

ResponderEliminarI´ve chosen this one beacuse I think it´s the most amazing construction of all. It is 8.851,8 km long something absolutely incredible and it was protected by more than 1 million soldiers.
I think seeing that giant wall is so big and spectacular might scared the enemies and reduced their moral for the combat. Also, it was constructed for transport, control of inmigration and emigration, etc.
Probably is not as beautiful as other constructions like the Eiffel Tower, but in my opinion is the best.

ResponderEliminarMy candidate for being a world wonder is the Statue of Liberty.It is in New York,United States.The statue was a gift of the French to the American for commemorate the Declaration of Independence of the United States in 1886.The origin of the Statue of Liberty project is generally traced to a comment made by French law professor and politician,and well,the statue represent the liberty,like the name says. He said that if a monument should be in the United States, it should be a memory to their independence.It one of the most important monuments of New York and USA.
I've chosen the Statue oh Liberty because for me is beautiful and is in the USA and I love this country.It should be amazing can go up and see all New York.
And also think is good that the French give away the statue as a sign of friendship.
Well,for all these reasons I think the Statue of Liberty should be a world wonder.
My candidate for world wonder is the Amazon river. The Amazon is located in South America and Amazon pass for Peru, Brazil and Colombia.
ResponderEliminarSome people believe Amazon is called for the native Americans but Amazon is called for when the explorer, Francisco de Orellana, ran the course of this river was attacked by a tribe of warriors Indians. They reminded the women warriors of the ancient Greek legends, Amazons, so he decided to call the river as well.
I´ve chosen the Amazon because is the first longest river in the world and It is the most largest river in the world by volume. The Amazon carries more water than the Mississippi, the Nile and the Yangtze combined.
The other think because the Amazon river is the following world wonder is because Amazon have around the Amazon jungle where there are uncountable species of plants, species of birds, amphibians and million insects undiscovered.
For all these reasons I think the Amazon river should be a wonder of world.

ResponderEliminarMy candidate for being a wonder of the world is Neuschwanstein Castle, is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany.
The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II was intended as a personal refuge for the king, but it was opened to public immediately after his death in 1886.
The palace has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle and later, similar structures, for this reason I chose this building as a wonder of the world because I think it's awesome, it seems that is not real, it is as the castle of princesses of any film and I love stories of princess.
Hi! My candidate for being a wonder of the world is Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is a small group of waterfalls located on the Niagara River on the border between the United States and Canada. Located some 236 meters above sea level, its fall is approximately 52 meters. They include three waterfalls: the "Canadian Falls" (Ontario), the "American magnifiers" (New York) and the smallest, the "Bridal Veil Falls." I nominate this place for its great beauty and quiet it conveys. I hope to go some day and enjoy this small wonder of the world.

ResponderEliminarMy candidate for world wonder is Covadonga.Covadonga is a village and one of 11 parishes in Cangas de Onís, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northwestern Spain. It is situated in the Picos de Europa mountains.
I've chosen Covadonga because for my is the most beautifull village in the World.
In the mountains above the town there are lakes known as Lagos de Covadonga, and the road leading to the lakes is often featured in the Vuelta a España bicycle race.
For all these reason I think Covadonga should be one of the world's wonders.

My candidate for being a wonder of the world is ''EL ESCORIAL'' in Madrid(Spain).
It was built in fifteen sixty-three by Juan de Toledo. I chose ''El Escorial'' because
I think it is extraordinary because is one of the longest buildings. It was built 21 years!
Stresses particularly the library and especially because.... There are tombs of kings !
Definitely''El Escorial'' should be chosen for greatness.

The Bermuda triangle is located in Atlantic Ocean,between Washington and San Juan.
Many ships have disappeared in passing through the area.
People have different ideas about what happened, some people have studied it,they say the ships disappear because of the climatic conditions of that area, but are not sure.Nobody knows what happened exactly.
