2 ESO D.
Hi guys, the new written task is the one we explained in class on Student´s Book Pg. 27: 6a. Write a postcard to an English speaking friend, including all the information we talked about and try to start using the new structures and vocabulary already learnt. Deadline will be next Sunday 24th November.

ResponderEliminarI can´t believe it! I´m in London! I´m staying in an hotel in the center, we have such an amazing views. Every here is incredible but the journey was so bad. First, the plain came with a delay of two hours and, when we get into it, it broke down, so we had to wait an hour more. Finally, my seat was next to a man who was singing while he was sleeping, it was so terrible! Without counting the flight, everything is going perfect, the place is so beautiful, the hotel is as good as I had imagine, or even better! When I arrived yesterday the first thing I did is to go to relax to the hotel swimming pool, it is such an enormous swimming pool that when you reach the other side you are so tired! Tomorrow I want to go to the Big Bang and other day I want to go shopping, it will be incredible! I can´t wait more!
This is all for now, I´ll write to you next week, hope you´re well.

I am in a hotel of four stars.It is in the centre of the city.All here is fantastic but the journye was so bad.First of all,the plain had a delay of one hour.Then,in the seat that where behind of me it was a child who were all the journey crying.And finally,my bag felt on the head of a sir who was next to me.He shout to me!But here all is incredible.The hotel is enormous and it has a big jacuzzi. I had relax on it more than one time.Yesterday I went to see the mosts famous monuments in the city.And the best of all is that tomrrow I am going to the Manchester stadium to see the Manchester-Arsenal match.I can`t wait for tomorrow!

ResponderEliminarFinally I do arrive to the beach. During the holidays I´m going to stay in Santander. I´m in an apartment. Such a big apartment! It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces, 1 kitchen and 1 living room. You only have to take 5 minutes from the apartment to the beach by walking. The journey has been normal, without problems, but it was tired to be 5 hours inside the car. Santander is so a very good city because it has all: it isn´t as big as Madrid, their beaches are fantastic, it has shopping centres nearby the city and there is a fantastic promenade along the sea which finish at the ligthouse. Yesterday I went to the beach in the morning. In the afternoon i went for a walk to the "Palace of the Magdalena". The next days I wil probably go to the beach, to the ligthouse, to "Cabárceno"(a huge zoo in which animals are living in their natural habitat) and to the shopping centre.

ResponderEliminarYesterday I arrived here. I´m in Oslo, Norway!!! We set off yesterday at 6:00 and we arrived here at 11:00. I travelled by plane with my parents and brother. We took the plane at the Barajas airport of Madrid. The journey did take so much time! And in fact, we were waiting at the terminals for an hour and a half because of the delay.
Norway is amazing. There´s a lot of very nice people and there are many fozen lakes, too! So we can go ice-skating on them. The worst thing about this place is that it is very cold here. Yesterday we went around the city to see how it is like and to learn more things about their culture and daily habits. The next days we are going to go to a viking museum and to visit the royal palace.
I hope you are also enyoying your holidays!!

P.S: I fell down yesterday playing football and I cut my finger. I have some skin strip off and it hurts a bit It´s very disgusting!

ResponderEliminarYou won't believe were I am. L.A! I arrive here two days ago.
I´m staying in a house near the beach, is from a friends. The journey by plane was short for my because we got up very early in the morning and I get asleep on the plane. I travel with a friend. The good thing is that it wasn´t any delay so we get fast into the plane.
The views of the sea were amazing, the but thing is that is winter and we can´t go swimming, but we can walk by the seafront on the night for knowing the zone. Today we have visited the city, it´s enormous! And we have only see a half.
We will stay here for two weeks, and we will get something for you with a requirement:

ResponderEliminarCan you guess where I am? I am in New York!! I am staying in a hotel that has four stars. I came on Saturday at night, I took the airplane. Everything was ok, but when I got off of the plain a taxi should collect me but it didn´t come , I wait for it two hours but it didn´t appear so I walked to the hotel. When I arrived I went to bed and I felt asleep. When I opened my eyes it was twelve in the morning. Quicky I dressed and I went to the dining room to had breakfast. I decided to visit Metropolitan museum it was so beatiful that when I saw my watch was quarter past four! So I ate in a restaurant, the food was very good. The people was nice and very clean too, that was what I did yesterday. The next day I planned to go shopping to buy me many clothes, because I love it and the following days I will visit more museums and the statue of liberty!

ResponderEliminarDo you know where i am? I´m in Hawaii! I am staying at an hotel near the beach. I came here in the 6th of June and i travel by ship. During the journey, there was an enormous storm and the ship almost sinks down. Hawaii is beautifull place and i am extremly happy to be here.The sea water is very transparent so you can see a variety of animals like turtles or sharks. Yesterday in the morning i went to the beach, then we went to a restaurant that prepares tipicall food of the island and in the night we went to walk in the city. Tomorrow i´m going to have a surf course and on saturday i´m going to a huge shopping centre because my mother wants to buy some clothes before we get back to Spain.

I can´t believe it! I´m in Heppenheim,Germany. I´m in an hotel near mountains.I came here in the 3th of july and i travel by plane.during the journey, i listen to music.Heppenheim is very small but is a beautiful place
i´m so happy to be here.There are many mountains a many beautiful flowers and many animals.Last nigth i saw Sebastian Vettel in a restaurant because is his village and i took many photos with him.And today we are going to make some sigthseeing the city.Tomorrow i would like to make some hiking in the mountains with my family

ResponderEliminarI can´t believe it! I`m in Hawaii! My family and I arrived to the hotel yesterday at night. When I saw the bed I just threw myself to the bed and fell asleep in less than one second .The reason was that the plane that we had to take had a delay of two hours and we arrived to the hotel at 12 o´clock in the night. But in the morning we went to have breakfast, and all was delicious! When we had finished we went to the beach and we spent a really good time .When we were tired we went to the hotel and discovered that it had a jacuzzi next to our room .we relaxed there and then we had dinner at a restaurant .I think that in the next few days we are going to the city to see how is it and one this days I am going to visit a friend that lives here, she is called Megan. I hope you`ve enjoyed reading my letter.

ResponderEliminarHow are you? I´m very tired, but finally I`m in Oxford. I arrived yesterday night. The hotel is fantastic. All the people here is very nice and well-mannered. The hotel is very clean with very big bedrooms and an even bigger swimming pool. An other good thing about the hotel is that it isn´t so far from an enormes shoping centre. And also the food here is very good. This is about the hotel, but the trevel to here...oh my god! It was awful!!The worst journy of my live. First it was a delay of four hours in the airport. Four hours!!Then, when I was in the plane I had to go to paris`s airpot because of the bad weather. I had to stay at paris`s airport for two more hours. After that, when I had finally arrived at London´s airpot they had mistaken the date in which I should arrive and I didn´t have a car for going to Oxford. One hour later the mistake was solve and I went to the hotel. Luckly it wasn´t any problem with the hotel. After I had dinner I fell aslep. It was a very long journy from seven o´clock in the morning that I was at the airport to half past ten at night that I arrive to the hotel. I really hope that I won´t have any problem for now on or in the journy back to Spain. And this is all for now. Write back soon.

ResponderEliminarCan you imagine where we are?Here we are in L.A, exactly in Malibu! What a incredible dream! Is better than I imagine! The house is only at eleven metres from the water, is perfect. The people here didn't know what is the winter, so I have to return in winter to Finland to see the snow and also you. I'm so relax in Malibu is such in a spa. We do have time to make parties at any hour, but other days we didn't have time to make it. Marta and I want to see the universal studios and also pawn shops in L.A.
Now is time for our path across a forest! Missing you lots-hope you are well.

In this weekend I'm in london with some friends. We went here becouse we're in a basketball leage and we have to play here some matches. We are also having fun because we have here a play station and we play all afternoons with it. Here We meet some other guys and now they are our best english friends. Here We also improved our english accent. I love london is fantastic.

I can´t belive it yet!! I´m in London with my cousin Leire and this is amacing! The journy was so long and we were so nervous. When we were waiting for the bags in the airport, our bags took ages to come. But some time later they apperared. Today we are going to Trafalgar Square and the centre of London. The receptionist said that it is very beateful to see it, we hope so. Today is a sunny day with some clouds, but tomorrow is going to rain. Anyway it isn´t a problema, we are going to see museums. Now is our time for have lunch! Miss you lots.

ResponderEliminarI can´t belive it yet!! Can you guess were I am? I´m in Miami, were you live!! I can´t believe that i was going to came, but finally I´m here!! I´m with a friend called María , we are do happy of being here, but the trip was horrible. First the plane had a bug delay, then, when we get on the plain they told us that it was raining a lot and we can´t take off, we had to wait for an hour. When we take off everything was ok,but when we arrive to the airoport of Miami our bags didn´t appear, we wait one hour until our bags came. After that we took a taxi to the hotel. At last we arrived to the hotel!!
Now we are in a hotel in front of a beach, this is very funny and beautifull and the people is so friendly. We spend all day in the beach!
I would like to see you one of this days

How are you? I´m so excited because I´m in London! I´m here because the teachers in my highschool did a raffle to see who was going to come to London and we were elected my best friend Ana and me. Now we are here with our teacher Simon in London´s airport, but we are going to go to the hotel in just a few minutes. Tomorrow we are going to go sightseeing. I really want to see the the Big Ben and the London Eye. Isn´t it amazing? Day after tomorrow we will go to Oxford and to Simon´s university. Thats all for now.

ResponderEliminarYou wont believe were I am...I´m in Las Vegas!!!There are lots of casinos and many copies of pyramids and famouse structures. Yesterday I went to the las vegas sphinx. It´s a bit more modern and smaller but it´s surprisingly luminous
and colorfull. I saw like a smaller Eiffel Tower but with more lights. Thats all for now. I´ll write you if something new happens.
I´ll bring you some gifts.
